STC - Water Supplies Department (WSD) approved laboratory for Water Supply Pipes and Fittings

The Water Supplies Department (WSD) stipulates that all every pipe or fitting shall be of the British Standard in accordance with the Waterworks Regulations. The authority accepts certification or test reports from laboratories accredited by HOKLAS.

The Hong Kong Standards and Testing Centre (STC) is accredited by HKAS under Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (HOKLAS) in more than one of the stated sub-categories. We provide testing services for the confirmation of compliance with the relevant British Standard as required by the Water Supplies Department (WSD).

Other than quality, water efficiency is equally significant in water consumption. The Voluntary Water Efficiency Labelling Scheme is adopted by the HKSAR to advocate water saving. We are accredited by HOKLAS in showers and water taps tests, and is capable to provide corresponding testing showing their performances.
