STC Vietnam hosts technical seminar on furniture compliance regulations

Co-organized by STC Vietnam, a subsidiary of the STC Group, and Handicraft and Wood Industry Association (HAWA), the technical seminar on "Compliance Regulations for furniture products exporting to US and EU markets: fire safety and chemical requirement on flame retardant" was held on June 29th, 2018 in Ho Chi Minh City. The seminar has attracted more than 50 attendants from the furniture industry, as well as local television broadcasters. Experts from STC Group presented the latest US and EU fire safety regulations together with useful tips for furniture product testing and flame retardant treatment. The seminar concluded with a Q&A session where HAWA members, enterprises and manufacturers raised their questions, as well as shared valuable experience about the scope of restricted flame retardants and region-specific requirements.
