Application Procedures for CCC and CQC Mark

CCC Mark

China Compulsory Certification (CCC) system, administered by the Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA), was first launched in 2003. After recent adjustment, there are 21 categories in "The Catalogue of Products Subject to Compulsory Certification", including wires & cables, circuit switches and electrical devices for protection or connection, low-voltage apparatus, low power motor, electric power tool, electric welding machine, household and similar use appliances, audio & video equipment, information technology equipment, lighting equipment, motor vehicles and safety accessories, motor vehicle tyre, safety glass, agricultural machinery product, telecommunication terminal equipment, fire products, security and protection products, decoration products, children’s products, explosion-proof electric apparatus, domestic gas cooking appliances, etc. Products subject to compulsory certification cannot be imported, sold and/or used in business activities in China without first being certified in accordance with CCC requirements.


CQC Mark

China Quality Certification (CQC) Mark is a voluntary certification scheme in China for building customer confidence in products not covered by the CCC system. Products with CQC Mark indicate that they have been verified to comply with relevant standards and requirements for quality, safety, environmental protection and performance. CQC scheme covers more than 500 product types across 55 categories, including electronic components, electrical accessories, lighting equipment, electrical appliances and accessories, power equipment, to name just a few.
