AS/NZS 8124.1:2016 and AS/NZS 8124.2:2016 are Published

Joint Standard Australia / Standards New Zealand Committee, CS-018, Safety of Children’s toys published two updated voluntary standards in which AS/NZS 8124.1:2013 and AS/NZS 8124.2:2009 were replaced by AS/NZS 8124.1:2016 and AS/NZS ISO8124.2:2016 respectively on 30 June 2016. The two updated standards are an adoption with national modifications. In other words, they are to align the toy safety requirements of physical and mechanical properties, and flammability with the latest ISO8124:2014 standards.
