Hong Kong Wi-Fi 6E Certification

Wi-Fi 6E device (Access Point, AP) is required to comply with the Office of the Communications Authority’s (OFCA) Radio Equipment Specifications before launching for sale in the Hong Kong market.  Wi-Fi 6E AP is under the Compulsory Certification Scheme (CCS).

Technical Requirement:

Frequency Range:  5.925 – 6.425 GHz

Labeling Requirement:

Certificates issued by STC are assigned with the LCB code “HK001” as the prefix to certification numbers in accordance to the prescribed specifications.

STC is an authorized Local Certification Body (LCB) for the testing and certification of telecommunication equipment under section 32E(g) of the Telecommunications Ordinance recognized by the Government of Hong Kong under the OFCA and represented by the Communication Authority (CA).
